After being a military brat for the first 18 years of my life, we settled in greenwood and have been here ever since. Greenwood is home. It is where I raised my kids and now enjoying my grandkids. I will grow old(er) here and one day die here. Greenwood is where I want to stay.

What I love and adore about Greenwood is how welcoming it is and how much it makes me feel “at home!” My husband and I recently moved to Laurens from Indiana, but I work here in Greenwood. I work at Chef’s Warehouse, and there is such a sense of community with what I do! The best part of my job is getting to know all of the local restaurants and their owners! I love Greenwood, and one of these days my husband and puppy may just have to be here full time! Also, you can’t beat Lake Greenwood ? beautiful!
