Wanted: Armed and Dangerous
On August 12th, 2023 at 5:53 AM the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a possible motor vehicle accident on Kerr Rd in Greenwood County. Upon arrival Deputies located a vehicle running just off of the roadway with a female inside. The female was found to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was deceased. Through evidence gathered at the scene GCSO investigators have obtained Murder and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime warrants for Joshua Dean Nix (40 years old) of Greenville, SC. NIX’s whereabouts are unknown at this time and we believe he is armed and very dangerous. At this time we do not have a vehicle description but we will update this information should it be obtained. NIX has connections throughout the state and has had time to get out of the area as this incident is believed to have occurred last night.
Anyone with information on NIX is asked to contact the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office by calling 911 or 864-942-8632.Please to not approach NIX if he is located and call 911 immediately.
