The Women’s Leadership Collaborative of Greenwood announces the ‘23 “Women of Excellence”Awards.

The Women’s Leadership Collaborative (WLC) of Greenwood, SC is pleased to announce the 2023 “Women of Excellence”Awards. These awards celebrate and honor the unique leadership influence of women in the local area. At this time, the WLC is seeking Women of Excellence nominations to recognize women for utilizing their talents and influence to make an impactful difference in our community through a project, partnership, or collaborative initiative.

 

Do you know a woman who:

• Is a Champion for Positive Change? She demonstratesingenuity, energy, enthusiasm, and passion that has resulted in meaningful outcomes and positive changes for the community.   
• Is a Contributing Force? She is a steady and reliable force that exhibits unwavering commitment and contributes to the success of those around her.  She demonstrates integrity, dedication, determination, resilience, and a passion for giving back.  
• Is an Influencer? She is seen as a mover and shaker within the community, a high achiever  who has “opened doors” for other women. She serves as a role model for others and has shown leadership and vision resulting in meaningful impact on individuals and seen as an influencer among the community.

Recipients will be honored at the WLC’s Women of Excellence Awards Luncheon currently planned for Friday, March 24, 2023at the Greenwood Country Club. This special event is a tradition of the WLC to bring together women for inspiration and celebrate these award receipts.

 

Criteria to be addressed in submitting a nomination must include:

 

1. A description of the depth of her involvement andcontributions of time, talent, and resources in the community or in business.
2. An explanation of how she generates significant positive impact on the local community through her endeavors.
3. Examples of how she demonstrates a passionate commitment to enhance opportunities for women in the local area through her activities.

Nomination Guidelines

▪ Self-nominations will not be accepted.

Judging

 

A WLC panel will carefully review all nominations and select the award recipients.

 

Submission Process

To nominate someone for an award, please do the following:  

 

1. Complete the attached Nomination Cover Sheet for each woman nominated.
2. Respond to the three questions on the Award Nomination Form, addressing the criteria listed above. Please limit each Award Nomination to a total of two typed pages.
3. Attach a one page biography and/or resume of the nominee.
4. Send the package containing the above items to the WLC/Chamber by e-mail or US mail:
