The 4th annual Manufacturing Madness: Coolest Thing Made in SC competition

(Columbia, SC) – The South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance (SCMA) today officially kicked off the 4th annual Manufacturing Madness: Coolest Thing Made in SC competition.
This statewide, bracket-style contest showcases the innovation and impact of South Carolina’s manufacturing industry and invites the public to vote for their favorite SC-made products.
BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is the contest sponsor.
Since launching in 2022, Manufacturing Madness has attracted more than half a million votes from the general public. Previous winners include:
2024 – The Talon, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. South Carolina Manufacturing (Timmonsville)
2023 – The F-16 Fighting Falcon, Lockheed Martin (Greenville)
2022 – Steel, Nucor Steel Berkeley (Huger)
Nominations are open now at www.scmanufacturingmadness.comand run through February 20. Any product manufactured in South Carolina is eligible.
2025 Contest Timeline:
February 10 – 20: Nominations open
February 24 – 27: Popular voting
March 3 – 6: Top 16 bracket voting
March 10 – 13: Top 8 bracket voting
March 17 – 20: Top 4 bracket voting
March 26: Winner announced at the State House with Governor Henry McMaster
