UPDATE: Suspect arrested in Greenwood shooting that injured one.

*On Wednesday, July 17th, 2019 at approximately 08:30 am Brandon Peirre Hawkins was arrested and booked into the Greenwood County Detention Center in connection with the shooting incident from last Tuesday night in the parking lot of the H2O Lounge on Highway 72/221 East in Greenwood SC.

*Brandon Peirre Hawkins was charged with Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon During the Commision of a Violent Crime. Hawkins bond hearing will be today.

The Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office reports that Investigators have obtained warrants in connection with the shooting investigation which occurred Tuesday. The shooting occurred on July 9th, 2019 at approximately 8:45 pm at the H2O Lounge located on Highway 72/221 East in Greenwood County.

The suspect has been identified as: Brandon Pierre Hawkins, 30, of Greenwood, South Carolina. Attempted Murder and Possession of Firearm During the Commission of a Violent Crime warrants have been obtained against the suspect.

Hawkins is considered armed and dangerous.
