Skeletal Remains Found in Hodges

The lead Investigator on the Kenneth Hughes missing person case was notified on February 13, 2024 that possible human remains were located in the area of Ridge Rd. A team of Investigators responded to the area and were able to identify remains on the property. Since being notified on the 13th, investigators worked with the Greenwood County Coroner’s Office and sought assistance from Cedar Point Shepherds and SAR to process the scene. A forensic examination of the remains was able to positively identify the remains as Kenneth Hughes who was reported missing in November of 2022.
