PREMIERE CINEMAS IS PROUD TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CINEMA FOUNDATION’S SECOND ANNUAL NATIONAL CINEMA DAY,AMERICA’S DAY AT THE MOVIES ON AUG. 27TH

The Cinema Foundation today announced the return of National Cinema Day coming to a theater near you this Sunday, August 27th. Building on the unprecedented success of last year’s inaugural National Cinema Day, the Cinema Foundation is calling on film fans across the country to gather for a national day to celebrate the magic of the movies on the big screen. The second annual National Cinema Day celebrates the power of movies to bring us all together, and discounted admissions for all movies at participating U.S. theaters in all formats (including Premium Large Format screens) will be no more than $4. To buy tickets or see a list of participating theaters visit NationalCinemaDay.org, and your local movie theater’s website or app.
Held at more than 3,000 participating locations with more than 30,000 screens across the country, the one-day event will feature the hottest new titles, independent films and summer blockbusters, and exclusive new content that can only be seen in theaters.
“Premiere Cinemas is SUPER excited to participate in the Second Annual National Cinema Day,” says Don Massingill, Director of Operations for Premiere Cinemas. “We are so excited to welcome our guests in for a day full of FUN, FILM and FANTASTIC deals at all 21 of our locations!”
Premiere Cinemas has amazing programs set for Sunday. “Every guest that attends will receive a scratch off card (while supplies last) good for a chance at amazing in-theatre prizes including concession items up to MOVIES FOR A YEAR, “Mr. Massingill continued. “Sign up bonuses for E-Mail registration will be active that day as well as a number of amazing Concession Deals. We truly want to make National Cinema Day a MUST VISIT for Premiere Cinema Guests.”
On August 27th, dozens of movies in all formats at all participating theaters will be no more than $4, including new films opening this weekend like Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story, Golda, The Hill, Retribution, and Bottoms, current box office hits like Barbie, Oppenheimer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Sound of Freedom, recent family hits like The Super Mario Bros. Movie and The Little Mermaid (Sing-Along Version), to classic re- releaseslike Jurassic Park, American Graffiti, Lady Bird, and Oldboy (Not all films will feature at all locations)
