The Humane Society of Greenwood is hosting a Facebook fundraiser to raise sponsorship funds for free pet adoptions during this year’s Pick Me SC statewide adoption event, taking place July 12th and 13th at the Greenwood County Animal Shelter & Humane Society of Greenwood, located at 2820 Airport Rd., from 12pm to 5pm each day. All contributed funds go directly to support fee-waived adoptions for the event. This year’s statewide goal is to save 1,500 pets in shelters across South Carolina. Persons interested in contributing toward the sponsorship fundraiser can do so by visiting the Humane Society of Greenwood’s Facebook page. The deadline to contribute is Thursday, July 11, 2019.
