This event was started four years ago as the result of A.J. Elliott being granted a wish after being diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. There have many others from the Greenwood area that have been granted wishes from Make-A-Wish South Carolina.
Make-A-Wish South Carolina grants wishes to children with life threating illnesses. It is their belief that the wish experience helps in the overall wellbeing and helps in the healing process.
