Hagood Rising Star – Earns Emerald Award

Greenwood’s Spence Hagood is now the youngest ever Greenwood Country Club’s Men Club Champion. Haygood shot 8 under par yesterday.

Just last week, 12 year-old Hagood played The Blade tournament in Greenville for the first time. This is considered the Masters of junior golf in SC. He finished in 4th place at event. Check out final round coverage of the Blade (WSPA) HERE

Hagood, earlier this year, was also named MVP in basketball at Cambridge Academy where he was recently inducted in the national honor society.
