Greenwood, SC, is truely a gem (hence: The Emerald City), and for many it’s no longer a hidden gem. Empty building are being occupied, new businesses, parks, and housing develpments are under constuction. Here’s a partial list:

New Radio station, Good News Network, is set to replace Sunny 103.5 and Magic 102.7. Expected date of approval is by March 31, 2024. The format is expected to be Christian radio.
One Way Liquors will be in the former Sharp Facets
Hair depot is coming to this former Sears location in Greenwood between Ollie’s and Omni.
The new Spinx station on Montague Avenue extension (across from CVS) has a car wash being built just to the left.
Big Dan’s Car Wash is being built besides Migs of Greenwood.
Judd and Robert Larkins brings Scooter’s Coffee to Greenwood.
Oregon Station : A vibrant retail, culinary, and entertainment community located in the heart of Uptown Greenwood. Construction is expected to be completed by Spring 2025.
