Thanks to those of you who could make it out to Greenwood Film Society meeting this week. We had another great turnout. Thanks to everyone for coming back!
Our next meeting with be at Tuesday, April 18 (same time and location, upstairs at Goodtimes Brewing). We will be watching Mae West’s I’m No Angel (1933). Not only does West star in this movie, but she also wrote the story, screenplay, and all dialogue. This was her first screenplay. The film co-stars Cary Grant (his second and final film with West) and is directed by Wesley Ruggles. It runs 1 hr. and 27 minutes.
As usual, conversation starts around 6:30 pm and the film will begin at 7:00 pmsharp. Come early to drink beer and eat food. (You can also order food from Millhouse and eat it at Goodtimes).
I hope to see you there. Please bring a friend!

p.s. Please let me know if you have suggestions for future films. Underappreciated, or lesser known known films from the 1930s-1950s, especially those featuring “firsts” (or “lasts”) of various kinds are especially welcome. Films should also be of good quality, freely available on YouTube (or some other source), and run about 90-105 minutes in length.
