Greenwood County Voter Registration and Elections Office Moving to New Location
Greenwood County Voter Registration and Elections office will be relocating from Park Plaza, 600 Monument St., Suite 113 to Suite 13 on September 12. The new location is on the ground level of Park Plaza.
“We’re always looking for ways to provide the best service to our citizens and this move helps us to achieve that goal,” Connie Moody, director, Voter Registration and Elections, said. “The new location has been renovated to provide our team members with more space to complete their jobs and to provide our residents with greater ease of access and use.”
As election season is ramping up, it is important to note that the deadline to register to vote in person is October 7 at 5 p.m. and that early voting opens on October 24. In-person registration and early voting will both be held at the new location. All future certification hearings and board meetings will be held in this location as well.
