Due to recent changes in the SC Code of Laws, absentee-by-mail ballot requests cannot be submitted online, via email, or via fax. If you do so, the request cannot be honored.   Requests can only be made by the USPS, telephone or in-person.  When applying you must provide your name, date of birth, and the last four digits of your social security number.  The cutoff for absentee-by-mail requests is 11 days prior to an election.
