GHS JROTC Leadership
AMAZING! This word can be used to describe the GHS JROTC Leadership team. The team recently qualified for the 2019 Army JROTC Leadership Bowl for the 4th year in a row! The GHS JROTC Leadership team earned top scores out of the 1,350 Army JROTC teams that competed from around the world. The team is one of only 40 Army JROTC Leadership Bowl teams in the nation to advance to the National Leadership Bowl competition. The competition includes an all-expense paid trip to the Championship event later this June in Washington, D.C.
The team was recognized at the April Board meeting. In the picture above (from left to right) are GHS Principal Chad Evans, Cadets Rebecca Knight, Chastity Lubang, Sarah Mathis, Moises Lopez, Sgt. Major Jeffrey Brown, Board Chairman David Trent, and Col. Curtis Laymon.
