Earlier this afternoon, GHS school administration received a report of a student threatening another student via direct messages on Snapchat. The messages by the student contained images of a BB gun and threatening language directed towards the other student. School administration immediately contacted law enforcement and district officials.
Law enforcement and school administration worked to complete a thorough investigation of the incident. No gun was found on campus. The student who sent the images and threatening messages was identified and charged by law enforcement. The student will also be disciplined according to the Students Rights and Responsibilities handbook.
