Food Bank Welcomes New Board

Food Bank of Greenwood County welcomes new Board Chair and Board Members

(Greenwood SC, January 7, 2022)- The Food Bank of Greenwood County’s Board of Directors have selected Teresa S. Goodman as the new Board Chair. Goodman will succeed Chad Bettis, Attorney, Ayers, Smithdeal, & Bettis, PC, whose term ended in September. Bettis served as Board Chair for four years and provided stellar leadership and service to the Food Bank. 

Goodman first joined the Food Bank in 2020, serving as a Board Member. She is a community advocate serving in various leadership roles, serving on numerous boards and committees. Most recently Teresa was selected to participate as part of the Liberty Fellowship, a statewide leadership initiative. She has proven to an extraordinary leader committed to enriching the lives of all residents in Greenwood. 

The following community leaders have also been elected to serve on the board for the next three years. These individuals are committed the mission and vision of the Food Bank of Greenwood County, and the Greenwood community at large.

Dr. Nancy Wicker, Hospice & Palliative Care of the Piedmont
