Floyd Nelson Alexander Obituary
Floyd Nelson Alexander, 70, of Greenwood, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024.
Born in Madison County, Georgia, he was a son of the late Cecil John Alexander and Lurene Barrett Alexander. Floyd was a fencing installer and was a loving father and grandfather. He was a talented musician playing guitar in the band 221 Express and an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.
He was preceded in death by a brother, James Loyd Alexander.
Surviving are his sons, Lee Alexander (Brandi), James Alexander (Leabee) and Ray Alexander (Laura) who was his caregiver; grandchildren, Amber Alexander, Audrey Alexander, Garrett Alexander, Ashley Franklin (AJ), AJ Alexander, Gavin Alexander and Laney Holland; and great grandchildren, Brandon James, Bridget Franklin and Brantley Alexander and Brooklyn Hatfield.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Griffin officiating.
The family will receive friends before the service at the funeral home from 2-3pm.
Family members are at their respective homes.
