Earlier Time, More Bands and More Vendors Highlight Connect Lake Greenwood’s Lights on the Lake, Saturday, July 6th

Greenwood, SC – Connect Lake Greenwood is excited to announce the 11th annual Lights on the Lake, an Independence Day celebration set for Saturday, July 6th, 2024, at the Fellowship Camp & Conference Center.Lights on the Lake has become a highly anticipated tradition for residents and visitors, growing significantly over the past decade and drawing thousands of spectators both by vehicle and boat.Sponsored by Acopia Home Loans and LakelandsRealty.com, Lights on the Lake will start earlier this year at 4:00 PM, with gates opening at 3:00 PM. The event is free to the public, though there is a $10 parking fee per vehicle. This year’s event features even more music! The Moore Junction Band and A Month of Mondays will take the stage, followed by the crowd favorite, The Jake Bartley Band, who will perform as they have for the past 11 years. For attendees on land, there will be food vendors offering meals, summer treats, and a variety of refreshments. At approximately 9:30 PM, the night sky will light up with spectacular fireworks over Lake Greenwood.Attendees, whether arriving by vehicle or boat, are asked to register online so organizers can anticipate the number of attendees and plan accordingly. Donations are also welcomed to help offset the increased costs of this year’s fireworks display.”This year promises to be even more spectacular, thanks to more vendors, additional bands, support, and generous sponsors. Once again, we’ve partnered with WSSL 100.5’s Aaron Michael to curate the music for the fireworks show simulcast. At approximately 9:30 PM, viewers can tune in for a patriotic and awe-inspiring fireworks display,” stated Tony Curreri organizer alongside Shonna Lee.Connect Lake Greenwood is deeply grateful to the local businesses, sponsors, and volunteers who make this event a success each year. For more information and the latest updates on Lights on the Lake, visit www.connectlakegreenwood.org and follow Connect Lake Greenwood on social media.
