Countybank Debit Swipe Campaign
COUNTYBANK LAUNCHES DEBIT CARD DONATION SWIPE CAMPAIGN
Greenwood, S.C. — Countybank is excited to announce the launch of its first debit card swipe campaign that results in contributions to local organizations through the Countybank Foundation.
“As the holidays quickly approach, we are actively searching for ways to give back to our community, especially in light of the difficult year small businesses have endured,” said R. Thornwell Dunlap III, President and CEO of Countybank. “We hope that our customers take advantage of this campaign and utilize their resources to shop local, helping us also support local organizations with every swipe.”
The campaign kicked off on December 1 and will continue through the end of the month. For every swipe using a Countybank debit card throughout December, the bank will donate to one of the many local non-profit and
charitable organizations that the Countybank Foundation supports. These include:
• Anderson Interfaith Ministries
• Daily Bread Ministries
• Greenwood Area Habitat for Humanity
• Greenwood Genetic Center Foundation
• Piedmont Technical College Foundation
• Rebuild Upstate
• Self Regional Healthcare Foundation
• United Way – Greenwood, Greenville, and Anderson
• And many more
Countybank will make donations through this campaign up to $5,000 but is on track to contribute more than $150,000 to community organization in 2020 as a whole.
