COUNTYBANK FOUNDATION PRESENTS DONATION TO ANDERSON INTERFAITH MINISTRIES
Anderson, S.C. — The Countybank Foundation, established in 1971 representing Countybank and Greenwood Capital, recently donated $10,000 to Anderson Interfaith Ministries (AIM).
Michael Wooles, Senior Vice President and Anderson Market Executive for Countybank, and William Coxe, Jr., private client advisor for Countybank, recently presented the check on behalf of the foundation during a recent reception with Countybank’s Anderson Advisory Board and AIM Board of Directors.
“Countybank and Greenwood Capital are honored to partner with an organization like AIM that does so much for our community,” said Wooles. “We look forward to being actively involved and supporting AIM in 2019 and making a significant investment in the Anderson community going forward,” said Coxe.
The donation will go toward a new sign and AIM events throughout the year geared toward raising money for struggling individuals and families in Anderson County. Ongoing events include a shoe drive, which Countybank and Greenwood Capital employees are actively involved in.
“AIM is excited to partner with Countybank and Greenwood Capital to fulfill our mission of providing resource, support, and education, which leads our clients to self-sufficiency,” said Kristi King-Brock, Executive Director of AIM. “Together we are ‘Giving Hope and Changing Lives.’”
AIM provides emergency assistance, education and workforce development, a housing program, hunger ministries, and manages the Women and Children Succeeding program.
“Countybank is pleased to provide financial support to AIM,” said Ken Harper, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Countybank. “Their work has a positive, lasting impact across the Anderson area, and we are proud to support their efforts.”
