COUNTYBANK FOUNDATION DONATES TO NEXT LEVEL FITNESS
Greenwood, S.C. — David Tompkins, Greenwood Market Executive for Countybank; Wells Dunlap, Commercial Relationship Manager for Countybank; and Chris Hammett, Corporate Security Officer for Countybank, recently presented a check for $500 to Next Level Fitness. The donation was given on behalf of the Countybank Foundation, which was established in 1971 and represents Countybank and Greenwood Capital.
Next Level Fitness is a gym that Jamar Crawford founded to accommodate high school students, college students, and adults attending his popular workout classes. Crawford has helped many individuals discover and maintain a healthy lifestyle through exercise, but his focus has also been on giving young adults a positive outlet. “Next Level Fitness is working to mentor youth in Greenwood, and Jamar has made a notable impact on our community,” said Hammett. “The Countybank Foundation’s donation will go toward Next Level Fitness’ $4,500 goal to purchase a used bus to transport children during the summer.”
Crawford is committed to helping young adults who enter his program. “My goal is to educate and encourage,” said Crawford. “Kids are here because they want to be.” Crawford doesn’t currently charge students because he wants to provide an opportunity for those who can’t afford a gym membership. Because of this Next Level Fitness relies heavily on community support.
“Countybank and Greenwood Capital are honored to support Jamar, who is a leader in our community and a mentor for young adults,” said Tompkins. “We look forward to seeing what the future has in store for Next Level Fitness.”
