FREE PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL OPENS IN 2023!
It is official! Greenwood Charter Academy closed on a $24,800,000.00 bond today, Thursday, August 25, and has purchased over 52,000 square feet in the rear center of the Greenwood Mall. An area known as the former call center. GCA will add just over 17,000 square feet for a gym and cafeteria and 2 wonderful outdoor play areas. The cutting edge design includes full rooms for music and art as our Patriots have PE and Music or Art everyday! Safety is a key component of the design for the school facility to serve our students, staff, and family. This FREE Public school is open to all students in grades 5 year old Kindergarten through 5th grade to start school in 2023. The school will add a grade each year, growing to a K through 8th grade campus. GCA hopes your family will consider allowing our school be a part of your family.
