Arrested
Person of Interest Jeffery David Powell has been located and arrested in Jacksonville, Florida. During the course of the investigation Powell’s status was upgraded from Person of Interest to Suspect in the Shooting that occurred in Greenwood County on 08/02/2021. Sheriff Dennis Kelly would like to thank the United States Marshall Service, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and all of the local law enforcement that assisted in the search for Powell. No further information will be released at this time.
