Sunny 103.5 has a new owner

According to radio insight.com, Augusta Radio Fellowship purchases AC “Sunny 103.5” WZSN and Adult R&B “Magic 102.7” 1090 WCZZ/102.7 W274CC Greenwood SC from Broomfield Broadcasting and the real estate associated from John Broomfield for $800,000. The ownership change is expected to take place on or about March 31, 2024. There is no word as to whether the format of either 103.5 or 102.7 will remain the same or change; however causes.com, had this to say about the new owners, “Augusta Radio Fellowship Institute serves as a Christian Radio Broadcasting network that operates as a listener-supported non-profit organization, catering to areas such as Augusta, Millen, Vidalia, Byron, and Jesup in Georgia. It operates from Grovetown, GA.”
