Nancy Logan Holder, 82, of Greenwood, wife of Ray Holder, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at her home.
She was born on October 3, 1941, in Callison, SC, to the late William Robert Logan and Inez Rush Logan. She retired from Monsanto after over 35 years of service.
Nancy was an avid fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks and Jimmy Buffett. She also had a creative side and enjoyed indulging in craftwork, using her hands to bring her artistic visions to life.
Nature held a special place in Nancy’s heart, as evidenced by her love for flowers. She found solace in tending to her garden, nurturing vibrant blooms that brought her much joy. Her love extended beyond the flora, as she cherished her beloved family and her faithful furry baby, Hudson.
Nancy had a zest for life that led her on countless adventures. Travel ignited her spirit, and she had the pleasure of embarking on 73 cruises, exploring new destinations, and creating lasting memories.
She is survived by her husband, Ray; sister, Frances Jester (James) of Greenwood; brothers, John Andrew Logan (Faye) of Georgia and A.J. Logan (Barbara) of St. Matthews, SC; nieces, Schanen Jester Smith (Brian), Kelly Wheeler (John) and Melissa Hickenbottom (Jeff); nephews, James Jester, Jr. (Melanie) and Robby Holder; and two great nieces.
She was preceded in death by a brother, W.R. Logan, Jr.
Services will be private.
