Sandra Mae Goff Peeler, 76, of 109 Murrell Street, Troy, beloved wife of Jimmy Peeler, entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Self Regional Healthcare.
Born in McCormick and a lifelong Troy resident, she was a daughter of the late Hewie Lawton Goff and Evelyn Long Goff. She had worked for Park Seed Company, the U.S. Postal Service, the Sunshine House, and Greenwood School District 50, from which she retired. She was a member of Troy United Methodist Church and a longtime member of the Kate Edwards Study Group. Her quiet, steadfast faith will forever be reflected in the many lives she touched, in the enduring friendships she made, and in her tireless devotion to her loving family.
Surviving are her husband, Jimmy Peeler of Troy; children, Jamie and Deborah Peeler of Troy, and Jodie Peeler and Ralph Nardone of Pomaria; grandchildren, Emeline Peeler, Kellar Charles and Rachel Peeler of Troy; siblings Hewie E. “Eddie” Goff, Sharon and Bob Underwood, and Randy and Cynthia Goff, all of Greenwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 3:30 pm Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at Troy United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kile Antone officiating. Interment will be at Troy Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Harley Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 5 to 7 pm.
