Armed Robbery Investigation Continues, Two Suspects in Custody & One Still at Large
Greenwood, SC (Monday, December 30th, 2019, 03:30 PM)
*On 12/23/2019 at 07:10 PM our E911 Communications Center received a report of an Armed Robbery at “Quick Credit” 724B Montague Avenue and “Nails by Linda” 725B Montague Avenue The caller was able to provide physical descriptions of the suspects.
*Uniform Patrol Deputies/Officers from Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office and Greenwood City Police Department arrived at the incident location shortly thereafter. Deputies and Officers very quickly secured the scene, assisted victims, interviewed witnesses and set up set up perimeter around the incident location. At that time GCSO Criminal Investigators along with the Greenwood County Bloodhound Tracking Team was called in to assist.
* A short time later the Greenwood County Bloodhound Tracking Team located some of the stolen items behind the business and one of the suspects who was hiding behind another business south of the victim business. The subject was taken into custody and identified as Kevis Hawkins, 25 of Ninety Six S.C. Hawkins was transported to the Detention Center. Hawkins faces the following charges: 17 Counts of Armed Robbery 17 Counts of Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime 2 Counts of Kidnapping 2 Counts of Conspiracy 2 Counts of Assault & Battery 1st Degree
* Investigators were able to identify the other two suspects as Ry’shed Lukie, 26 of Greenwood, S.C. and Raheem Lukie, 27 of Greenwood, S.C. as well.
*On 12/28/2019 Ry’shed Lukie was located, arrested and booked by the Greenwood City Police Department and the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office for the following charges:
1 Count of Trafficking Methamphetamine
1 Count of Possession with intent to Distribute Cocaine
1 Count of Possession of a Firearm by a Felon 17 Counts of Armed Robbery 17 Counts of Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime 2 Counts of Kidnapping 2 Counts of Conspiracy 2 Counts of Assault & Battery 1st Degree
*As of the 12/30/2019 Raheem Lukie is still at large and wanted for the following arrest warrants:
17 Counts of Armed Robbery 17 Counts of Possession of a Weapon during the Commission of a Violent Crime 2 Counts of Kidnapping 2 Counts of Conspiracy 2 Counts of Assault & Battery 1st Degree *Raheem Lukie is to be considered armed and dangerous.
