Aerospace students score highest in country

Students from Josh Buchanan’s Aerospace class, comprised of both Greenwood High School and Emerald High School students, scored highest in the country on the SREB Advanced Aerospace End of Course Exam for the second year in a row.A total of 24 students in the country passed the exam. Eleven of those students were from Greenwood 50. Eight students scored in the advanced category across the country. Three of those were Greenwood 50 Aerospace students.The national pass rate was 30% and Buchanan’s class has a pass rate of 92%.Students in the class were: Emory Britt, Jasmine Creswell, Stokes Cromer, Brenden Dianda, Ashby Elliot, Coulter Friez, Matthew Hines, Zackary Rhoden, Ryan Sprouse, Robert Tinkler, Ruben Villareal, John Wiseman
