Letter From District 52 Superintendent
Earlier today, Greenwood School District 52 officials confirmed that a teacher assigned to Edgewood Middle School was arrested by the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office to assist another law enforcement agency’s pending charge.
In accordance with District Board Policy, the teacher was immediately placed on administrative leave pending further investigation.
The District does not comment on specific personnel-related matters and will continue to cooperate fully with local law enforcement in their ongoing investigation.
All questions related to the investigation should be directed to the Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office for further response.
