UPDATE: Active Shooters at Greenwood Mall

Shooter at Greenwood Mall

According to Officers Jonathan Link of the Greenwood City Police Department, several males apparently were chasing an individual inside Greenwood Mall and an unknown number of rounds were fired inside the mall. There is no evidence than anyone was hit. The mall was placed on lock down.

The suspects fled in a vehicle, and the police are following up leads to apprehend them. Police officers ask that people avoid the area. No injuries have been reported at this time.
