News: Let’s talk Trash!

City of Greenwood!  There will no residential sanitation collection on Friday, April 18th (Good Friday Holiday). City residents who are scheduled to receive residential garbage collection on Friday, April 18th are asked to place their roll cart at the curb on Wednesday, April 16th for pickup.  Neighborhoods/streets that should place their green can at the curb THIS WEDNESDAY include Beechwood, Canyon Drive, East End Heights, Booker T. Washington/College Heights, Tompkins Heights, Cambridge Heights, New Haven, streets along E Cambridge Avenue, streets in the vicinity of Milwee Avenue, streets in the vicinity of Magnolia Avenue, and streets in the vicinity of Baptist Avenue.

Additionally, Greenwood County will not collect recycling on Friday, April 18th.  Those with Friday, April 18th collection should place their roll carts at the curb on Thursday, April 17th.  The landfill and all convenience centers will operate on a normal schedule.
