It’s Not Backwards

It’s not backward. Reports from multiple website have stated, inaccurately, that Greenwood’s Burger King at 1214 72 Bypass NE was accidentally built backwards. The fake news made credible by the delay in construction was addressed by Greenwood Burger King’s General Manager David Tinsley.

Tinsley explained that he’d seen the false reports, but he stated that the delay was simply due to the weather. He added that while the dining room will be slightly smaller, the new layout will make it easier for customers to use the drive thru.

Bruce Daniels, owner of Greenwood’s Burger Kings chuckled at the false reports of being built backward and said the previous layout’s drive thru created a difficult traffic situation. The old layout had the building perpendicular to the entrance.

The new layout, which is parallel to the entrance, will have two lanes to the drive thru resolving the traffic situation.

DanielS further explained that if anyone wants to see what the final building will look like, they can check out the Burger King in Clinton, SC, which has the same layout.

Daniels said he appreciates everyone’s patience and said he hopes construction will be complete in a few weeks.
