Why is Greenwood special to you?
I already loved Greenwood SC, situated comfortably between the mountains and the beach. But since I started Greenwood Calendar one year ago, I’ve met so many nice people and have enjoyed many friendly events. From the local mom and pop shops, to industries that employee many of our residents, to a city and county government that listens to its citizens, to local concerts, plays, festivals, exhibits, and events Greenwood is a very pleasant place to live. I’ve always loved the Andy Griffith Show because of the hometown sense of community. When I think about it, that sense of community is why I love Greenwood. How about you? Care to share?
