The only exception would be a voter who claims a reasonable impediment (a voter who does not own a photo ID). If a voter claims a reasonable impediment, they may vote a provisional paper ballot by showing their paper voter registration card with no photo.
If a voter needs a copy of their voter registration card, they may obtain a duplicate card by either calling or visiting our office. If a voter needs a photo ID, we can take a picture in-office and print a photo ID.
Precinct Location Changes
The Greenwood 008 Precinct located at Wesley Commons has been relocated for the Presidential Preference Primaries. Voters normally cast their ballots in Asbury Hall. The polling location for this election will be across the hall in the Library of the same building.
The Ninety Six 013 Precinct will not be voting in the main building. The polling location will be housed in the gym at the school. Voters should park in the parking area across from the gym.
The Ninety Six 013 Precinct located at the Ninety Six Primary School was split several years ago due to overcrowding. The split created a second precinct, Allie’s Crossing, which is housed at the new Ninety Six High School, 640 Cambridge Street South. The majority of the Ninety Six Mill Village will continue to cast their ballots at the Ninety Six 013 Precinct.
The Sandridge 020 Precinct will be combined with the Epworth 024 Precinct for the Presidential Preference Primaries. The Social Hall retained damage from flooding earlier this year so voters assigned to the Sandridge Precinct will cast their ballots at the Epworth Fire Department located at the Epworth-Phoenix Fire Department, 1218 Epworth Camp Rd, Ninety Six, SC 29666
All precincts will be open for voting for both Presidential Preference Primaries.
