New local hospitality tax

Greenwood County adopted a two (2) percent Local Hospitality Tax that began January 1, 2015 within the unincorporated areas of Greenwood County. The City of Greenwood’s Finance Department collects the revenue generated through the tax on behalf of Greenwood County. The 2% tax affects prepared or modified food and/or beverages intended for immediate consumption.
