Please take time to talk to your children about the recent bomb threats and school violence we have seen. Children see and experience all of these things, and it is our job to help them cope with and process these tragedies and scary incidents.
The Greenwood Police Department wants to see all of the children in our community have a safe opportunity to succeed in their education. Take time to remind your children that threats, bomb scares, and violent messages posted on social media have to be taken seriously, and they can get a child in a lot of trouble.
Let’s come together, Greenwood, and make sure our kids stay safe and have the best possible experience each and every day in our schools!
