Dog Park, Blessing, and Bricks

The Dedication and Pet Blessing is planned for Saturday, October 4, 2014, and 10:00am.

The first 250 pets to be blessed will receive a special St. Francis medal.  If you have ordered tshirts or water bottles they will be ready for pickup at that time.  We will also have more shirts and bottles, as well as the new embroidered Parks and Trails hat– all of your outdoor buddies will want one!

Our Memorial Brick project has begun!  We are selling pet memorial bricks that will become a permanent part of the reflection grove at the Dog Park.  We have brochures that explain the program and are displaying in a nice, neat plastic holder.  If you own a business in town or known of someone who would agree to display them for us and help make this grove a reality please let me know!  It’s a simple, quiet way to support our work.

For more information email me back or visit our Facebook page at “Greater Greenwood Parks and Trails Foundation”.   I’ll be happy to answer your questions or send your email along to someone that can directly help you.  Help make the dream a reality and open the first portion of Greenwood’s Grace Street Park!
