The Greenwood County Voter Registration & Elections Office will open at 8:00 am on Monday, March 28th and Wednesday, March 30th to be in in compliance with S.C. Code of Laws Section 7-13-45 in regards to candidate filings.
The law requires the State Election Commission and county boards “establish regular hours of not less than four hours a day during the final seventy-two hours of the filing period.”
